Conditions of Enrolment
Our goal is to provide an enjoyable and safe environment for your child. To ensure a positive experience for both you and your child, the following conditions are designed to help us maintain professionalism and a well-run facility. If you have any questions regarding these conditions, please contact our Club Manager.
By enrolling your child, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, including our Declaration/Disclaimer.
Disclaimer for Gymnastics Classes
By registering your child for our gymnastics program, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk:
Gymnastics is a physically demanding activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and other injuries. While every effort is made to ensure the safety and well-being of participants, by enrolling your child, you accept that some risks cannot be entirely eliminated. -
Medical Clearance:
It is your responsibility to ensure that your child is in good health and physically fit to participate in gymnastics. Please inform us of any existing medical conditions, injuries, or other concerns that may affect your child's participation. -
Emergency Medical Care:
In the event that your child requires emergency medical treatment, including but not limited to first aid or ambulance transport, you authorize us to seek such care on your behalf. You agree to bear any costs associated with medical treatment, including ambulance fees, if required. -
Release of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, the gymnastics club, its coaches, employees, and volunteers will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation in our gymnastics classes, except in cases of proven negligence. -
Supervision and Behavior:
All children are expected to follow the instructions of their coach and behave in a respectful and safe manner. Failure to do so may result in your child being removed from the class for safety reasons. -
Photography and Media Consent:
We may occasionally take photos or videos during classes for promotional purposes, including on social media or our website. If you do not consent to your child being photographed or filmed, please tick the box indicating this on the registration form. -
Refund, Credit, and Make-Up Policy:
Please note that we do not offer refunds, credits, or make-up classes for any missed sessions, regardless of the reason for absence. In the event of injury or extended absence, please contact us to discuss any potential arrangements.
By completing the registration process, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this disclaimer.
Trial Class Fee:

A trial class is available for $35. This fee is non-refundable.
Annual registration fees
Gymnastics Australia (GA) Insurance fees are due once annually (calendar year).
The Annual GA insurance fee is transferable to another affiliated club on the condition that your fees are paid in full.
Term Fees:

Full payment plus GYM NSW registration/insurance fees is due in advance or on the first session of the term.

Fees cover a 9-week term. Full term payment is required regardless of attendance.

Participants starting after the first week pay pro-rata fees based on the number of remaining classes.
Refunds:
-
Enrollment commits you to payment for the entire term. No refunds are provided for class or registration fees under any circumstances.
Make-Up Classes:
-
No make-up classes are offered. Credits for prolonged absences may be considered on a case-by-case basis, with applications submitted in writing and assessed at the Club Manager’s discretion. Credits are not provided for future terms.
Public Holidays:
-
Classes are not held on public holidays. No make-up classes are provided if a holiday falls on your child’s scheduled class day.
Extreme Weather:
-
Heat: Classes are canceled if the temperature reaches 35°C or higher. No make-up classes are provided.

Rain: Classes may be canceled in extreme rain if safety is compromised. No make-up classes are provided.
Gymnastics Attire:
-
Children should wear comfortable, appropriate clothing. Avoid baggy clothes, buttons, zippers, snaps, or dangling jewelry. Hair must be tied back.
After School Care Collection:
-
We offer a collection service from Rainbow Street Public School. A fee applies per child per term. In extreme weather, you may need to pick up your child directly from gymnastics.
Birthday Party Cancellation Policy:
-
A non-refundable booking fee of $100 is required to secure your booking.

The balance must be paid 8 days before the party. Late payment incurs a 10% fee.

Additional attendees require on-the-day payment.

Changes to party time within 14 days incur a non-refundable rescheduling fee of $100.
-
Cancellations less than 7 days before incur a 50% fee and rescheduling fee if rebooking.
-
Cancellations less than 24 hours before incur 100% of the total fee and a rescheduling fee.
-
No refunds for completed parties or no-shows.
-
No refunds for absentees or added extras.

An overtime fee of $20 per 10 minutes applies and must be paid on the day.
Parents/Guardians:
-
Non-participants must not enter the gym during classes. Speak to coaches before or after class.

Do not bring valuables; we are not responsible for lost items.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy:
-
We are a drop-off and pick-up facility. Children should be dropped off and picked up on time.
-
Parents/guardians are responsible for their child before and after class, including in the car park.

Ensure you arrive and are dressed before the class start time. Late arrivals may miss warm-up and not participate.

Be on time to collect your child, at least 5 minutes before the end of class. Children must be signed out by a parent/guardian.
Parking & Safety:

Park responsibly. Leave garage spaces clear for coaches.
Holiday Gymnastics:
-
Fees for Gym Fun Days are payable in advance. No refunds or credits, including no-shows.
Kinder gymnastics for Under 5s:
-
Active parent participation is required. Fees apply for children walking and participating. Registration is required as class numbers are capped.
Child Protection Guidelines:
-
Coaches follow the Gymnastics Australia Coaches’ Code of Ethics and undergo working with children checks.

No photography or video recording by parents/guardians.
-
Appropriate coach-to-gymnast ratios are maintained. A qualified first aid officer is present.
Medical Attention:

Keep medical details and contact information updated. Notify us of any changes.

In emergencies where parents or contacts cannot be reached, you consent to medical treatment arranged by SGF. All associated costs are the
-
parent/guardian’s responsibility.

Participants with contagious conditions or cold/flu symptoms will be excluded and must be collected.
Parent’s Declaration/Disclaimer:

Injury/Accidents: Participation involves risks. You accept these risks and waive rights to hold SGF liable for injuries or death related to gymnastics activities.

Acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions: By enrolling, you confirm understanding of and agreement to SGF’s terms. You grant authority for your child to train at SGF and consent to medical treatment if needed. You agree to full payment, no refunds, and non-transferability of enrollment. Consent is also given for promotional use of photographs/videos unless otherwise indicated on the registration form.
